Back in the trenches...

Once again I have been in between "real" jobs, but I wanted to chime in about a few rare pressings of "The Priest They Called Him" LP. This record is pretty common but there are a couple versions that are notable.

First off is the 10" picture disc that goes anywhere between $25-75 depending on if you get it on Ebay or through a merchant overseas. I really enjoy this version because it is a little cracklier because it is a picture disc. Typically picture discs tend to be a little scratchier and add texture to many recordings. Plus the picture disc is numbered and probably the most preferred copy for collectors. Etching on the back. 10,000 copies of picture discs were pressed on Tim Kerr in 1993.

Also we have the 1st pressing 10" black vinyl that contains the same track on one side, but includes the amazing B-side that has the signatures of Kurt Cobain and William S. Burroughs on the back. Really a treat and just has a special air to it. This goes for less usually between $10-25. 10,000 black copies were pressed.

Also 10" yellow copies. 5,000 were pressed. I would like a yellow copy :)

The song is nothing to consider amazing... but more the idea of the collaboration between these two legendary artists in music and literature. I listened to this track maybe twice a year and is best under the influence of something... enjoy!!!
